Fairy Tail returns with new manga miniseries Re:Fantasia in July 2026

Fairy Tail is coming back. Creator Hiro Mashima has announced a new manga miniseries, Fairy Tail Re:Fantasia, launching July 29, 2026, in issue 35 of Weekly Shonen Magazine from Kodansha. It is the first new mainline Fairy Tail manga in nearly nine years, and it lands on the 20th anniversary of the franchise. Mashima calls it a short, concentrated serialization and has revealed the new logo.

Chainsaw Man manga ends after eight years with no planned Part 3

Tatsuki Fujimoto has ended his hit manga Chainsaw Man after eight years, closing the main story at chapter 232. The final chapter, titled Thank You, Chainsaw Man, is a definitive ending, and there is no Part 3 planned. A short coda follows in chapter 233. The series has sold about 35 million copies worldwide since it began in 2018, marking its finish as a major moment for modern shonen manga.
